Some comments after a visit to Caleva to discuss Extrusion and Spheronization.

"I had an opportunity to make an all-day training in the Caleva company in the field of granulation, extrusion and spheronization of silica materials, working on the Caleva Multi Lab machine (CML). I must admit that I was very surprised when I got to know the capabilities of this device. First, extremely accurate idea was to combine the three processes (granulation, extrusion, spheronization) in one machine. Easy to use, fast and efficient work of the machine significantly underline the attractiveness of the CML. In addition, CML is dedicated to scientific institutions where research is carried out on a laboratory scale. It was a big achievement that we were able to obtain the pellets using only 10 grams of powdered silica material. I must also mention about the friendly atmosphere in the company itself. Competent employees serve their advice and assistance all the time. The experience that I obtained in the field of technological processes in Caleva is really important for me and I will use it in further studies for sure."
"Miałem okazję odbyć w firmie Caleva całodniowy kurs z zakresu granulacji, ekstruzji i sferonizacji materiałów krzemionkowych, pracując na urządzeniu Caleva Multi Lab (CML). Muszę przyznać, że zostałem mile zaskoczony możliwościami tej maszyny. Przede wszystkim, niezwykle trafnym pomysłem okazało się połączenie trzech procesów (granulacji, ekstruzji i sferonizacji) w jednym urządzeniu. Prostota użytku, szybka i wydajna praca znacząco podkreślają atrakcyjność CML. Co więcej, CML jest dedykowana jednostkom naukowym, w których badania przeprowadzane są w skali laboratoryjnej. Dużym osiągnięciem dla nas było otrzymanie peletek zaledwie z 10 gramów sproszkowanego materiału krzemionkowego. Koniecznie muszę także wspomnieć o przyjaznej atmosferze panującej w firmie. Wyszkoleni pracownicy służyli swoją radą i pomocą przez cały czas szkolenia. Doświadczenie jakie zdobyłem w zakresie procesów technologicznych w firmie Caleva jest dla mnie bardzo cenne i z pewnością wykorzystam je w dalszych badaniach."
